Yes, it's acceptable to undertake ground classes and flight training at different institutions. However, it's recommended to complete your ground examinations before commencing flight training to ensure a strong theoretical foundation.

7. What is the RTR (Radio Telephony Restricted) license, and why is it important?

The RTR license is essential for pilots to communicate effectively with air traffic control and other aircraft. It ensures that pilots are proficient in aviation communication protocols, which is critical for flight safety.

8. Which is better to get training done in India or abroad?

The quality standard & safety aspects are usually better at flight schools outside India. OFLY offers intergrated commercial pilot license programs where you get theory classes in India and flight training happens outside India.

9. What is the typical cost to become an airline pilot?

There are multiple stages involved including ground classes, flight training for CPL and type training. As per present estimate of April 2025, a ball park figure of Rs. 75-85 lacs is required to reach to Airline pilot stage.

10. What are the job gurantee if I become a CPL holder?

Last few years were very positive and majority of the students who completed their CPL in qualitative manner got job in airline. However, there is no gurantee offered by either ground school or flight school. We equip you with desired knowledge and training to crack airline interview.
