If you have ever searched for engineering courses in aviation, you have almost certainly come across two terms used interchangeably i.e. Aeronautical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering. Some universities offer one, some offer the other, and some seem to use both names for the same course.

An Aerospace Engineering degree is the safer choice as it covers both domains and lets you specialise later through electives, internships, or postgraduate study. Most Asian universities offering this degree front-load aeronautical subjects in the first two years anyway, so you are not sacrificing depth.
